Mai 2011 - At the end of May the building works on the second floor has been completed. All Rooms and Suites are completely renovated and new furnished in collaboration with “Waldvogel Interiors (Zurich)” and the architecture office “Camenzind & Bosshard” (Zurich)”. The enhancement of our deluxe categories has been a particular concern for us. Now, we’re proud to present our new rooms:Our new rooms come with:*Parquet- and stone floor*Queen-sized or King-sized beds (= 160 or 180cm beds)*Desktop*Seating area and/or bed sofaAll of the rooms are in a bright and friendly design and slightly different from each other. Only high quality materials have been used for the renovation. Juli 2010 - We have renewed our idyllic Terrasse at the beginning of this summer season 2010.The garden has a new design - brighter, tidy and airy. What is more, the whole furniture has been replaced.We would like to wish our guests a lot of sunshine and fun!

November 2009 - June, 2009 - New! In the room category " Design Rooms " free use of laptops are now available to our guests (in the rooms with desk).
November 2009 - May, 2003 - In May, 2003 we greeted the former president Mr. Mikhail Gorbachev of the Soviet Union, in our house as a guest. Mr. Gorbachev traveled on the occasion of the Jubilee of the Organization ' Green Cross' to Zurich and was received by Christian Scotoni (Managing Director, Hotel Wellenberg).
November 2009 - February, 2008 - Room renovation on the fifth floor of our house were concluded. In collaboration with Ligne Roset (Zurich) we had all rooms on this fifth floor of our house completely renewed and immediately a new room category created; Design Rooms. These are equipped with warm colours and selective materials, especially high-quality beds.
November 2009 - August, 2009 - On Friday 21st August, the rebuilding of our Reception was finished. The new Reception is not only an optical improvement, it is bigger and enables us to carry out Check-Ins and Check-Outs faster for you. We thank the involved craftsmen and Ligne Roset (Zurich) for their collaboration.
November 2009 - July, 2009 - Hotel Wellenberg is recommended once again in the 2009 Michelin Guide. The famous honoring is given to the Wellenberg now for 3 years.
November 2009 - January, 2009 - Now Hotel Wellenberg is also represented on YouTube.com by different trailers.
November 2009 - March, 2008 - The quality seal of approval program is a honoring of the Swiss Federation of Tourism. This stamp of quality is given to select companies which undergo the austere editions, regulations and controls of this Federation in the matter of quality, service, cleanness and strategy. The honoring "Q2" is valid up to 2011.
