Language
German is spoken in Zurich and the neighbouring Cantons. The other official languages in Switzerland are: French, Italian and Romansch. English is also spoken in the major cities.
Currency
Swiss Francs (CHF). Euros can also be used for payment in many shops and restaurants.
Electricity
220 volts. Two-way adapters are also possible. Our reception desk will be happy to provide further information.
Visa
All citizens of the European Union and the USA can enter Switzerland with a valid passport or personal identity document to stay up to 90 days. Citizens of all other nations should contact their closest Swiss embassy or consulate to check which documents are necessary for the entry.
